Interactive Virtual Healthcare Centre

Main Goal: To provide a healthcare primary center at patient's home. This is made by using an interactive decoder and a set of vital signs measurement devices.

Description:

The main aim of this project is to provide a healthcare primary center at patient's home. This is made by using an interactive decoder and a set of vital signs measurement devices. All these devices are connected among them and with the real HealthCare Center. This devices help the tele-assistance and tele-monitorization patient process, as they actually were at the HealthCare Center.

On the technological side, goals are lated with the development of interactive services through the television in order to allow:

1. Communication between patient and Medical Center in an inmediate fashion, through the development of interactive television platforms, mobile devices and videoconference systems.

2. To make a follow-up of the patients vital signs in a supervised fashion by the medical centre or with auto-control based on a set of parameters pre-configured in the applications.

3. Provide medical treatment through the electronic devices use ("electronic pillbox")

4. To generate an alert in the health center inmediatelly when there is a mesaurement out of the normal range that require medical attention

5. To Broadcast educational digital and interactive contents aligned with patient requirements.
