Last Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th June, in Zaragoza, the XXIII WORKSHOP ON QUALITY IN HEALTH and the XXI CONGRESS OFTH THE ARAGON SOCIETY OF CARE QUALITY were held. This workshop is aimed at all professionals interested in developing or promoting quality care projects in hospitals and primary care health centres of the Aragon Health Service (SALUD), Spain.

At the communication tables, the hospital of Barbastro presented the project:

Remote Rehabilitation Service for Isolated Areas. Piloting of usability and viability of the ecosystem in real environments.

Were we exposed the collaboration of the hospital of Barbastro in a Horizon 2020 project where two telerehabilitation platforms for patients in rural areas are being tested. The objective is to evaluate the acceptance, cost-effectiveness, usability and feasibility, analysing the patients and professionals experience in real environments. These piloting started in December 2024 and will last until sept 2025, providing feedback of the usability of these plataforms.

During the days, different round tables, talks and symposiums were held on topics such as clinical safety, artificial intelligence, environmental sustainability and the application of One Health, among others.

This conference is organised by the Aragon Health Service, Science Care Institute of Aragon (IACS), the Aragon Society of Care Quality (SACA), the Spanish Foundation of Care Quality (FECA) and the Government of Aragon.

We appreciate and value these conferences very positive and as an opportunity to showcase the work carried out by the teams in the innovation projects, such as HENKO NET, which are developed within the Interreg Sudoe programme.
